What this site does with a visit

jaredsloan.com is a static site: one page about my work, this page, and a not-found page. It is served from Amazon S3 through Amazon CloudFront. There is nothing on it that collects, stores or sends anything about you.

No cookies, no trackers

The site sets no cookies and runs no JavaScript. There is no analytics script, no advertising, no social widget, no embedded video, and the fonts are served from this domain, so a visit makes no request to any other company. Nothing is kept in your browser's storage. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

No forms, no accounts

There is nothing to fill in or sign up for. The only way to reach me from here is the LinkedIn link, which takes you to LinkedIn.

Server logs

I have not turned on CloudFront's access logs for this site, so I do not see who visits or from where. Amazon handles each request at the network level under its own privacy notice.

Links to other sites

The page links to LinkedIn and to four sites I run. Each has its own practices and, where it keeps logs, says so on its own site. Following a link sends them only what your browser sends to any site you open.
